THE LONG ROAD OF CALENDERS.

THE LONG ROAD OF CALENDERS.

Rooms filled with vanishing seconds
Hallway of agonizing minutes
Office of boring hours
A drive of empty days

A long road littered with calendar
Can I catch it with my hands?
If times fly by, I know not.
January said she will come by,
But passed with a wising noise, forgot to say hello
I forgive her, anyway.
Her siblings danced the rhythm
Never saw their back light
On the long road of calendar
The owl said: “poet! Another year sails the oblivion”
Kept head up hoping October will smile
Observing Today turn yesterday.
Even Mr Future changed name to yesterday.
Wish I had a large reservoir, so can store the days
And put them to use at will, for they count no more.
The owl said:”never mind poet, the days will come again”
But Today said:” you will never see me again, use me now”.
And that I believe.
